Some things to consider during your visit: 1) The first part of the "Intro to Wheel Throwing" workshop consisted of instructions and a demonstration given by the teacher which lasted between 10-15 minutes. The last 30 minutes of the class consisted of participants' cleaning up their area and tools. Keep the time in mind when planning out how many pieces you endeavor to make. Manage your time wisely. 2) They offer English and French workshops, as well as workshops that are billingual. During the billingual class we attended, the initial instructions were given in French, but the instructor spoke to us in English when we asked for guidance. My teen daughter understands basic French so she was able to comprehend the initial instructions offered. If you or your teen do not understand a word of French, however, I would recommend registering for an English workshop. Disclosure: We received complementary passes to try Atelier Forma's "Intro to Wheel Throwing" workshop in exchange for our coverage. |
