Our overnight stay at the L'Oiselière Montmagny was part of our 2-Day Road Trip in Chaudière-Appalaches designed for families and individuals interested in unique travel experiences.

L'Oiselière Montmagny is located near Berthier-sur-mer Marina where we embarked on our cruise to Grosse Île. The hotel contains 71 rooms and suites complete with an indoor tropical garden, a pool, spa, sauna, and an in-house restaurant.

L'Oiselière Montmagny offers an indoor pool, spa, sauna, indoor tropical garden, and gourmet restaurant. All rooms and suites include a flat screen television, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, desk, and free wifi.


Our suite was spacious. We had to ask for an extra cot for Ronan and there was more than enough space to fit the extra cot in.

The bathroom in our suite was impeccably clean and roomy.

Our suite, along with other suites at the hotel, was centrally and conveniently located close to the indoor pool, garden, hot tub, and in-house restaurant.

There was a lifeguard on duty at the indoor pool. Though we would never let the kids swim on their own without us, having a lifeguard on duty was an added bonus for our security and peace of mind.

The hotel's wifi connection exceeded our expectations. We generally encounter some difficulties with spotty wifi at some hotels we've stayed at. In contrast, the wifi at L'Oiselière Montmagny was remarkable - our oldest son Ronan was ecstatic about the fast connection.

Nearby Attractions/Activities:

Grosse Île (approx 14 min drive away to the marina) where we retraced the footsteps of Irish ancestors.
