Formula E: A Hooligan finds the key to a world of green
Dear Friend,
There was a key found in the garden where the plants have taken over, their roots overgrown, their branches extending outwards in different directions blocking the view of a clearing beyond the greenery. I kept the key hidden away in a drawer in the study with the plan of finding the lock it opens one day. It was only when the little one Seamus started talking about automobiles powered by electric mechanisms racing down roadways that I came to the realization he took the key in the study and found its purpose. With the key, Seamus entered an opening in the natural fold of this universe and experienced a world yet to come. His memories of the experience are fragmented and his elaboration of the details surrounding it coloured and perhaps far removed from the reality of it all. I find more often than not that the ripe and over-enthused mind of a 4 year old still imbued with that idealistic sense of awe and wonder, can lead to a bending of the truth. Nevertheless, I received your letter addressing how you too have dreamt of this 'green' place and time, and wish to know more about it. And here are the details by the little one as I remember them. I leave it to you to decipher their meaning.
Hydro-Quebec Montreal ePrix
This event occurs on the 29th and 30th day of this month (July), on the year of 2017.
There are three entrances to this green world the key opened - Berrie, Cartier, and St-Antoine.
One needs a key to enter and duplicates do exist. There are several ways to acquire them.
There is an area in this green world with giant structures containing bouncing little ones who are oddly happy about being confined in them, and a curious place where elders and little ones fall quite willingly. There are also automobiles colliding with one another purposely, and sections of this world which involve elders imparting words of wisdom to a doting crowd of subjects.
It doesn't end there. There is more. In a separate area, there exists giant windows leading to other vast worlds, a mountain to climb situated in the middle of it all, flying mechanical creatures, and curious devices one dons to enter more worlds. These beings appear to be natural travellers like the little one.
One cannot help but feel this green world has its share of conflict and confusion from the way Seamus speaks of the crowd and the onlookers. There is something, however, that draws him to this world - an encouraging positive outlook, a smattering of good intentions, and contagious optimism. The elders and little ones of this world have hope for a better future and some appear to work fervently towards one. Seamus also fervently refers back to an automobile bearing the title ‘Porsche’ joining this world in the future. For a reason I am unable to comprehend, he is drawn strongly to this ‘Porsche’ above all others.
That is all I can remember for now, and all that Seamus is willing to share. I hope this letter finds you well. The only thing I can state for certain is that there is something fascinating about this green world. I trust you too will feel the same.
Always,
Catherine
