Step Into the Upside Down: Next-Level VR Entertainment Your Teens Will Actually Want to Do!
Sandbox VR opened its second Montreal location on Sainte-Catherine Street in March 2025, bringing next-generation virtual reality entertainment to the heart of downtown. Unlike typical home VR systems or other VR arcades, Sandbox VR combines full-body motion capture with high-quality haptics to provide complete immersion. This entertainment space features private VR rooms where groups of up to six players can physically move around, interact with each other, and battle through immersive worlds together. Players can choose from multiple exclusive experiences, including popular Netflix collaborations like "Squid Game Virtuals" and "Deadwood Phobia," plus the latest offering "Stranger Things: Catalyst," which launched in October 2025. In Stranger Things: Catalyst, players become psychically enhanced test subjects who must fight back against Demodogs, Demobats, and the Demogorgon to save Hawkins.
