Visit the cheese factory at La Fromage la Station and enjoy some grilled cheese sandwiches

The Fromagerie La Station is a family owned business that prepares cheeses made from organic raw cow’s milk. You could visit their factory to buy some cheese, say hello to their cows, order an expresso, eat a grilled cheese, relax on the terrace, learn about cheese transformation, and etc.

Highlights:

• Their menu offers a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches. We tried three different grilled cheese sandwiches (classic, pesto, and bbq pork). Our teens liked the classic version whereas the adults liked the pesto grilled sandwich.
• Their boutique boasts tons of local finds. We bought a variety of snacks and treats. We recommend trying the chocolate offerings by Les Délices d'Elliot.
• They have cows on site...so be sure to visit them and say hello!

Some things to consider during your visit:

1) Our family toured their farm and visited the cows on our own but there are guided tours you can purchase if interested in learning more.

2) To order from the menu, you will need to place your order with the cashier in the boutique and pay for your order beforehand. Afterwards, sit back and enjoy the scenery outside while you wait for your grilled cheeses to arrive.
